We look for ways to make Downtown living better and help foster community, whether it is through programming, events, promotions, partnerships, and our advocacy work on various committees and Downtown initiatives.

• We organize many annual events including our Spring Clean-Up in May, CornFest in September, Holiday Mixer in December, as well as regular meetings, programming and events throughout the year for members.
• Our Development Committee meets the last Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. (as needed, subject to change) to discuss Downtown development and civic issues. Feel free to email us with questions and meeting details.
• Would you like to garden? Contact our Garden Coordinator to get on the waitlist for Alex Decoteau Park Community Garden.
• DECL is also proud to support Al Fresco 104 Street! This year’s market and programming run from July 8-September 9, 2023.
• We were proud to be a venue partner again this year for Winterruption YEG and Purple City Music Festival.
