Make a beaded pin or earrings
Anishinaabe community member Roxanne McKenzie offers you a cultural perspective on beading in our next workshop.
For Roxanne, beading represents a deep connection to her culture, and it calms her soul. She hopes you will have a similarly good experience with this Indigenous art form. Suitable for beginner beaders and experienced beaders alike, ages 16 and up.
Roxanne will guide you through your choice of a beaded poppy pin or earrings. You must be at both sessions:

Cost: $10. Snacks, drinks and supplies will be provided.
Please note that space is limited and will be filled on a first come first serve basis. The cost is $10 per person. This program is also supported by the Downtown Edmonton Vibrancy Grant.
Register by email and e-transfer the $10 program fee to info@decl.org. Once the class capacity has been reached, registration will close.
Classes must be paid for at the time of registration to reserve your spot.
If cancelled 48 hours or more prior to the start of the class, you will be reimbursed. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the start of the class will not be reimbursed.
