members continue to develop value-added incentives for new and renewing memberships. The September Community Corn
Fest kicked off DECL's most ambitious membership drive to date and you can find us on Saturdays at the 104 Street
Farmers' Market. The volunteer base is also growing with the ever-increasing membership group which allow us to
organize more community events.

A Public Meeting for the following
application was held on July 17, 2008 at the McKay Avenue School from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm:
LDA07-0516 is a proposed HDR to DC2 rezoning and Capital City Area Redevelopment Plan amendment application for
properties located at: 10406, 10410 - 97 Avenue and 9714, 9718 104 Street. The applicant's intent is to develop
a residential apartment within the McKay Avenue Area. The amendment proposes to increase the maximum height from
45m to 101.5m (31 Storeys), to increase the maximum floor area ratio from 4.0 to 10.0, and to increase the maximum
density from 500 to 711 dwelling units per hectare.
